Nuts and Bolts – a common type of party mix – started off as a simple recipe from the back of a cereal box in the 1950s. Over time, variations on it have appeared in countless recipe books while being tweaked and passed between friends. Our version of this staple forgoes the cheese crackers, which can become soggy during the roasting process, in favour of more crunchy cereal goodness.
